E & M Genealogy Books
What makes E & M Books different from other cemetery
books?
The information contained in our books is not taken from
obituaries or copied from other cemetery books. Our
cemetery research is done on-site. We walk each cemetery,
recording the information found on each and every
tombstone. During this process we assign grave and row
numbers to every grave to assist other researchers in
locating the graves of their ancestors or love ones. We
assist the family genealogist further by providing additional
family information about many of the people buried in the
cemetery.
In 2003, genealogy researchers Eileen Mullins and Marilyn
Fisher saw a need to update Wayne County, Kentucky's
cemetery resource information. Their first publication
Elk Spring Cemetery , A Garden of Memories catalogs the
nearly 7,000 graves in Monticello, KY's largest cemetery.
Our second book Alexander Cemetery, was created using
this same method.
Proceeds from the sale of E & M Books are used to help
purchase headstones for unmarked graves in Wayne
County, Kentucky.
